
Terms and Conditions of Service
Services and Quotes
Scope: Mr Technology provides technical support, hardware installation, troubleshooting, and tutoring. The scope of work will be agreed upon before work commences.
Quotes: Any price provided prior to inspection is an estimate only. Final costs may vary based on the complexity of the issue or the need for additional parts.
Minimum Charge: A minimum service fee of $75 applies to all callouts
Payment Terms
Payment: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
Methods: We accept Cash and Bank Transfer
Parts: Any hardware or software purchased on behalf of the client must be paid for in full before installation.
Data Backup and Loss
Client Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to back up all data (photos, documents, etc.) prior to the commencement of any work.
Liability: While every care is taken, Mr Technology is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or damage that occurs during the repair or installation process
Warranty and Liability
Service Warranty: We provide a 30 day warranty on the specific labour performed. This does not cover new issues, software viruses, or physical damage caused by the user after the service.
Hardware Warranty: Warranty for parts or hardware is provided by the manufacturer, not Mr Technology.
ACL: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Client Obligations
Access: The client must provide a safe working environment and any necessary passwords or administrative access required to complete the job.
Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. A "no-show" fee may apply.
Right to Refuse Service
Mr Technology reserves the right to refuse or stop service if the hardware is deemed unsafe, the software is illegal/pirated, or the environment is hazardous.
